Account Deletion
Updated July 11, 2026
This page explains how to delete your Ritzma account and the data associated with it.
About Ritzma accounts
Ritzma uses anonymous, device-bound accounts: an account is created automatically on first launch, without an email, name or phone number. That is why deletion happens directly in the app and requires no email confirmation.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open the Ritzma app.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Scroll to the "Danger zone" section.
- Tap "Delete account" and confirm twice.
What gets deleted
- the user record and the anonymous identifier;
- the note balance (including unused notes — they are not compensated);
- prompts, submitted or AI-generated lyrics, generation settings and history;
- generated audio tracks, cover files and related media links;
- device push tokens (notifications will stop).
Account records, history, purchase records and push tokens are deleted from the active application database when the request completes. Generated media, transient logs and residual active-system copies are permanently purged within 30 days; encrypted backups age out within 90 days. A narrowly limited transaction record may be kept longer where tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or other law requires it. AI providers apply their own retention policies; email us to request reasonable assistance with a provider deletion request.
Important note about subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription — it is managed by the App Store or Google Play, and store billing can continue after account deletion. Cancel before or after deletion at App Store subscriptions, or in Google Play → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
If you cannot access the app
If you cannot open the app (lost device, etc.), send a deletion request to [email protected]. Include your user identifier if you know it; if not, describe the situation and we will explain how to verify account ownership. Requests are processed within 2 business days.
